A few years ago, I found this dog outside my house. He looked so hungry, so I fed him. He wouldn’t stop following me, so it was like.. I HAD to take him in. I just had to. He gave me those puppy dog eyes and everything, whimpered.. You know how it is. I just couldn’t turn him loose.

Ever since then, he’s been like a best friend to me. We do everything together, and I take him with me almost everywhere I go. I just found out he was really sick when we went to the vet a few weeks ago. The vet didn’t look to happy about having to tell me the only way he’d survive is if he went, “under the knife.” He told me the price, and I almost lost it. I could NOT afford that much! It’s upwards of a thousand dollars! Where was I going to get that kind of money? Seriously!

Well they tell me I NEED to get my wisdom teeth removed, and that just freaked me out! They also told me how much it was, and how much extra it would be to get knocked out for the “surgery”. There’s a great place to go rock climbing in the city called Mission Hills.  I started climbing about a month ago with some friends and fell in love with it.  When I’m up there it’s just me and the wall.  I’m able to clear my head and all my troubles go away, for a little bit anyway.  I have been renting equipment but am thinking of investing in my own equipment.  I know this is something I will do for a long time to come.  But equipment is really expensive.  I’m looking at a few hundred dollars here.  I don’t have extra money for something like this right now.  I weighed my choices.  If I don’t buy the equipment I won’t spend the money but I love this so much and it brings a lot of peace to me.  I went with the second choice.  But I needed to find a way to get the fast cash I would need.
